Aims of research
My project title is "Effect of glyphosate on diversity and abundance of cotton weeds in Mwea".
This project focuses on identification of common weeds found in cotton farms and their effect on cotton growth and yield. It also identifies weed species that exhibit tolerance to Roundup (glyphopsate) with chances of gaining resistance to it.
Objectives
The objectives of the study are:
1. To investigate the diversity and abundance of weeds in cotton.
2. To determine the effect of weeds on cotton growth.
3. To identify weed species that show tolerance to Roundup.
